Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

My Auto insurance company was paying for my injuries sustained in an accident. In August they sent me a letter requesting an IME from one of their own Dr's. The IME was scheduled for September 30th and when it concluded the Dr said(of course) my treatment was not neccesary anymore. However, they dated it all the way back to August 4th even though I saw the Dr 8 times after that. Can they do this? Can the IME Dr cut off treatment and back up the date by 2 months?

You have the right to an arbitration on the PIP denial. You should contact an experienced personal injury lawyer who handles these kinds of cases. By your zip code, it looks like you're in Southern Oregon. I would start with Michael Brian, whom I believe practices law out of Medford. It would probably be smart to talk about representation on the underlying injury as well, if the accident was someone else's fault.

Best of luck to you,
