Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

i was involved in an auto accident (no fault of my own) the other parties insurance company excepted laibility, i went to the E.R. two days after the accident for headaches and they gave me a medication that didnt work and interacted with the medicine im already on. well i kept getting headaches after that but they were managable until they just kept getting stronger and stronger. so i went back to the doctor and they sent me to physical therepy for a couple of months. well, the fault parties insuance company refuses to pay for the expenses they are 9 months apart from the origonal though but they are related to the accident i dont get headaches or i didnt until this car accident..

the insuance company offered a settlement of $250 then they bumpted it up to $500 and now they are offering $750. i wanted origonally $5,000 in pain and suffering plus med. expenses and car damages. then i went down to $4,000 so today i emailed her and said i would go down to $3,500 and i would go as low as $3,000 but no lower and i want all the medical expenses paid including the ones they are rufusing to pay is this too high to ask for? what is a reasonable amount that makes me feel like im not getting taken advantage of?

This is not at all too much to ask. If anything, it is not enough. You might mention to the insurance company that you are prepared to file a formal complaint with the Insurance Division of the State of Oregon.
