Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon
Liability
My friend and I are having a rave. It is no drinking and no drugs. Around 200 people. He is signing the contract for renting the building. Does that mean I have chance that I will be liable for anything? And if so, what? Am I safe?

Re: Liability
Yes, you could well be held liable for any number of bad events. Someone could slip and fall down, hit his head on the floor and die or become disabled. Someone might pull a gun and start shooting. Others may take dangerous drugs and hurt themselves or others, even though you say "no drugs" (how are you going to enforce that ban, by the way?).
