Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

son killed on job

my 28 year old son was killed on the job he was a logger he was crushed by a work truck that had broken down in the woods and was by himself he apparently was quite a distance from his crew and could not call for help aparently the crew went looking for him and found him under the truck .to make along story short we had found out the truck had no e-brake the starter was bad and the truck should not have been in the woodsand my son should not have been alone.please let us know if we have a suit he left this world with a wife and five kids and we feel someone needs to answer for this. his sister,dad nephews we all need to know if we need to proceed .thanks for your time.
