My brother and I jointly inherited a house from our mother, my brother has since passed away without a will in Oregon. Does his wife automatically inherit?

It depends how you owned the house. If the house was owned as a tenancy in common, then his wife inherited his half of the house. If the house was owned as a joint tenancy, then you now own the entire house. Go to the county property records office and examine the ownership records.

The wife has share in husband's property so she will inherit automatically upto her share.
