We were buying a house on a private contract the owner was forclosed on and we were given notice he no longer owns home and we need to vacate. what can we do

Stop making payments to the "owner." Then file a lawsuit against the owner for fraud, conversion, unjust enrichment, and "money had and received."

You may be able to contest the foreclosure, as some mortgage companies and banks have poor records and are unable to produce the necessary documents to prove they own the house. That is very unlikely, however.
