Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Oregon
The house in question is located in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon. My name is Jody Griffith and I received a letter from Attorney at Law, Ted Turner; Re: The Estate of Everett Dean Marley, deceased. Clackamas County Case No. P09-07-025. Representative of the Estate of Everett Dean Marley. Giving me 30 days to vacate the premises. The letter dated May 6, 2010. Everett Marley left his house to Mike Held; Mike and myself were living in the house and caring for him. Mike Held and I lived in Marley's house caring for him until he died. Shortly after Marley's death, Mike Held who inherited the house went to prison and left me in charge of taking care of the house, where I have been living and doing so. Is there anything I can do to keep from having to vacate the house? I have lived there for 5-6 years. Can I put a lein on the house for payment for taking care of Marley and caring for the house for Mike Held?

The situation you describe does not make sense. If the deceased Everett Dean Marley "oeft his house to Mike Held," then Mike Held is the owner of the house. The estate of Marley cannot tell you to vacate the house, because it is owned by Mike Held.
