Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Oregon
My husband's name is on our house title along with his father's. His father was buying the house, and we took over payments for him. We don't have a traditional mortgage since our payments go to a family member, but my husband's father's new wife wants to evict us from the house. Is this legally possible?

If I understand you, your husband's father received a mortgage in his own name and then deeded the property to himself and your husband. If that's the case, then I would not think that you and your husband could be evicted as tenants. That said, if a lease termination notice is served to you or an eviction matter is filed in court, you need to talk with an attorney and attend all court appearances.
