can a second trust deed holder file a judement after the first trust deed holder foreclosed

A second trust deed holder can usually sue the maker on the promissory note. They can then obtain a judgment against the maker of the note for the amount of the second trust deed often along with attorneys fees and court costs.

They cannot get a judgment directly without suing the person who made the promissory note.
