lein on home title

Is there a way to get a title changed over when there is a lein on the title? A married couple has to get home refinanced and the husband has past due child support that they are fighting, but lein was just put on home. Against husband and wife is also on title is there a way to get title is wifes name allone?

I don't think so. Who is an owner (on title) and who is obligated on a loan (borrower) are separate issues. Qualifying for a better loan is primarily a matter of income, other debts, and credit history. Certainly the judgment amount reduces the value of equity in the home, but that goes towards the total debt amount.
