Neighbors' portion of tree (hanging on my side) fell ...destroyed portion of my fence, tore down power pole..burning tree in my yard ..bringing down portion of tree...and creating total chaos"...Officials would not let me return to my home..had to go to motel..till next day, Whose responsibility? her Ins. stated "an act of GOD would not pay...appraisal for fixing destruction was $1,675.

Your neighbor is responsible for the damage, whether or not his insurance company pays for it.

A falling tree limb is not an Act of God, unless it occurred in some flood or earthquake or huge storm.
