Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Oregon

Real estate misrepresentation

I'm buying a 25 year old house advertised for over a month in several different publications as having several features. In reality, they do not exist... the difference amounts to several thousand dollars. The sales agent says it was a Multiple Listing Service error. Realtor.com also had incorrect data & claims the data was direct from the agent, not MLS. Thus it appears that the sales agent intentionally mispreresented the property. I'd like to know strategies for a remedy.

Re: Real estate misrepresentation

I have a fair amount of experience in this area. Your strategy will depend on what relief you wish to obtain. There are also questions about what you knew (or reasonably should have known) when you agreed to make the purchase. You may telephone me at (503) 241-5550 should you wish to discuss this matter in more detail.
