Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Oregon

tax forclosure

Hello, I was going to purchase some property and after a title search the title insurance reported

''Hello--name removed-- ok, we did the searching we needed to do- and unfortunately, we will not be able to insure this transaction. The reason for that, is because when the property went into tax foreclosure, they sent a notice to the owner via certified mail. The signature on the parcel does not match his signature on other deeds. So we cannot be 100% that he received the information. If he were to comeback in 2 weeks, or 20 years, he does have legal rights to it. He might come back and decide he wants it, or he might not''

Can this be corrected and if so how?

Thank you for your help,

S Moore

Re: tax forclosure

Where is the property located? Consult with a real property lawyer IN THE COUNTY IN WHICH THE REAL PROPERTY IS LOCATED. Good Luck.
