On a month to month rental agreement, does the property owner have the right to terminate the lease without cause or reason?

Generally, the answer is yes. A month to month rental agreement

can be terminated by either party with 30 days notice. This

flexibility is why many landlords prefer to use a month to

month rental agreement.
