Legal Question in Traffic Law in Oregon

Checking everyone's id in the car

I got pulled over yesterday because there was a hit and run in a near by parking lot. the car discription i guess, matched my car (it wasn't us). when the police officer came to my window, he explained why he pulled me over and then asked for every one's id. is it right for the officer to question everyone's id even though i am the driver?

Re: Checking everyone's id in the car

Often times the driver at the time of the investigation is not the same driver at the time of the occurrence. People switch.
