Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Oregon
My friend died and he left me his money in a savings and checking account that names me as the POD beneficiary. The amount is $18,000.
A nephew comes out of the woodwork, (along with 2 grown kids who haven't contacted their 87 yr old day in 40 years) and wants a copy of the POD account, and is looking for a loophole where he can get some of the money. Do i have to give him a copy of the account and let him know the exact amount of money, etc.?

Probably not, unless he files a lawsuit and issues a subpoena.
