Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Oregon
Trust Financial Advisor
Is there any problem with the Trustor naming in the Trust Agreement the person she wants to manage her investments that she is funding the trust with? This person is her financial advisor at the present time and is not the trustee.

I would have to see the acutal trust document to fully answer your question. In general, the trustee is responsible for management of all trust assets. Perhaps the trustor here is attempting to appoint co-trustees - one with the duty to manage investments.
