Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Oregon
my wife and I were separated for 6 years .couldn't afford a divorce..she passed away 5 mo ago no estate but tons of medical bills that she accumulated after we separated....collections are callin on her medical bills we live in Oregon. am I responcible for her debt

If the debts were in her name only and you did not sign any pledge to be responsible for her hospital debt, then the answer is no. And you cannot be sued under Oregon law which allows for suit in such cases because you were separated, which I assume means you lived apart.
