Legal Question in Workers Comp in Oregon

on the job injury

I was injured on the job Nov.99. My company terminated me 6/29/00. I am still on workmans comp.and was to be released for full duty on July 17. Now what happens? Do I need legal assistance?

If you think that you were terminated because of your injury you may have a civil rights claim with the State of Oregon BOLI civil rights division. The complete answer to your question is subject to a number of facts that you havn't provided. As to the workers compensation case, which is different than a civil rights case, you may need an attorney if you think that you have not been paid benefits otherwise payable to you. Your question dosn't tell me enough about the circumstances of your claim.
