right to be notified in a timely matter

is the insurance co reguired to notify me in a timely matter(to avoid a break in timeloss pay)if they need or have not received time-off authorization from the attending physician. If no, how many times are they allowed to withold pay? Keep in mind, this is a self insured trucking co.

There is no provision in Oregon WC law requiring the employer to notify you if it hasn't been informed of time loss authorization by your doctor. You have to birddog your physician. To be on the safe side get time loss prescriptions in person from your doctor and give copies to your employer and keep in mind that the law only gives your doctor's time loss authorization 14 days back benefit value.
