ss disability
what is the chance of getting ssdis. for carpal tunnel in both hands? my co. is forcing me to decide to get the carpal tunnel better or requiring me to give up my lease on truck! i have a lot of $$ in this truck, but can't drive with numb hands? is it legal for them to pressure me to resign + loose my insurance, etc. plus loose my truck?

It is possible to be considered disabled because of severe Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, however it usually occurs when an individual has reached at least 50 years old; and more often occurs if there are other impairing medical problems. To be "disabled" under the Social Security Act one must be medically unable to do any substantial work of any kind, including minimum wage, entry level, unskilled sedentary or light work. As to the other issues of employment they require advice by an employment law specialist
