Legal Question in Business Law in Pakistan
if a cheque is bounced three years ago,can we register case under 489F ,after three years.Is there any time limit for registration of bounced cheque.

The maximum time limit as fixed by the Limitations Act 1908 (Schedule I) for a bill of exchange (i.e.the same meaning as in section 5 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (XXVI of 1881), and including a Hundi and a Cheque), is set upto three years only and not thereafter.
