Legal Question in Banking Law in Pakistan
My bank issued a guarantee in favour of one my customers under a sales contract. My company and the customer both have fully performed under that sales contract and the guarantee also stands expired now.
I am unable to get the physical copy of original guarantee from the customer as he is no more willing to extend any cooperation with me.
Now the problem is that the bank is not reducing my non fund based liability in respect of that guarantee for the want of original bank guarantee.
What options do i have given the fact that the guarantee has expired and the fact that i am unable to obtain any help form customer?
