Legal Question in Banking Law in Pakistan
my cheque was bounced in may 2009 then immedeatly i came to abroad and other party put an FIR in local police station.my brother was at home & he faced police & other party.i am still in abroad and want to pay money back to other party through my brother but they are asking more than the real amount but i want to pay the actual amount.i have no plan to go back to PAKISTAN till the case is over because if i go back to my home then police will arrest me & put me in jail.kindly advise me what should i do to solve this problem.

you have not mentioned why the cheque was dishonored at the first place, was it intentional or because of a mistake. any way to summarize the whole modus operandi is difficult when the case fir is already lodged and the accused is at large, in the eye of law. well you can call me during office hours so that i can appraise you regarding the strategy.
