Crossing generally
If a cheque is narrated as
Pay Mr. Gupta or Bearer ------
and the chque is crossed by two parallel lines without any sort of words.
Either Mr. Shukla may take the consideration through transfer into his account. If yes, please state under which sections of law

dear sir,
it is more explained or could have been elaborated in the banking by-laws, in a manner of legal practice when the cheque is crossed ,it shall always be credited in the account of whosoever's name is written on it. there is no provision of generally crossing a cheque.
