Legal Question in Banking Law in Pakistan
dear sir, i have a couple of cheques which have been bounced. Now the person who is liable to pay me the money is in Karachi and i have the cheque's with me in Lahore. how do i go about and file a case against him. He has been making foul promises to make the payment and now he has started threatening me when i ask for my money.

You may file case at Lahore and don't need to go to Karachi . It's better to file in Lahore so that he will face double trouble to defend the case.

if you file a criminal case here in lahore than you will have to do lot of effort (financial ) to get him arrested etc etc, whereas a recovery suit is more suitable under the circumstances. you can call me during office hours to discuss this in detail.
