Legal Question in Banking Law in Pakistan

Dear sir,

if a cheque comes in my bank/account and there is no money in my account,is my bank is bound

to inform me in written that a cheque has arrived and funds are insufficient and after my response

or after this written information bank can send back cheque with bounce slip.

If bank does not inform me and send back cheque with bounced slip,and FIR against me is ben launched under 489-F,can i hold my bank responsible for not informing me in written.Can it affect

FIR or can it make case week.

once you write down a cheque, it is presumed that you have sufficient funds to make it through. its not bank's duty to inform you regarding the insufficient fund (exceptional circumstance for corporate clients depending upon the relationship of the bank and the client.) but only to return the cheque with response slip.literally speaking you have no case against bank.
