telephone contract is valid or invalid ? what is legal status ? what is possibilities?

telephonic contract , may be amounts to verbal contract if other conditions are satisfied. and it needs to be proved through witnesses and evidence if other party denies.. if the contract was a reciprocal and you have performed your part and now the other party denies... than you have a good case of promissory estoppel.
