Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pakistan
I was charged for health Insurance fraud in 1999 and in 2003 I was sentenced 2 month prison and 4 month home detention plus fine.Sentence was very unexpected as other convicts were just put on probation and desite my voluntary assistance to even unrelated cases ,I was given jail term.I felt disappointed and left the country and went back to pakistan where I am living a decent life but guilt of running away from law keeps on haunting me.I want to confront that sentencing and want to pay my fine and do my time to get rid of that guilt.My case was in federal court in eastern NY in Nassau county.Please tell me to whom should I contact.I contacted dept of Justice by e-mail but no response.
