Your question is not cleared to me . I hv understand that u r a govt officer and cheque was given to u which was dishonoured. right ?

now

FIR is more effected as a speedy remedy. It is suggested that u must send a legal notice to party or got a direction through court under 22-A, 22-B Cr.Pc for registration of case.

after this process and recovery of your money u can file a suit for damages. for more help please don't hesitate to call me on 0321-4610092.

Get a FIR of 489-F and if the police refuse go under 22-A for a petition. And do not tell anyone what have they done. For more do consult me at [email protected]
