Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pakistan
same complainant lodged three cases u/s 489-f of cheque bounce in same dates with two police stations. one case was decided in 2009 under impriosonment of 3 years.
the other case yet to be decided in other court.
i want to know if same offender can be convicted twice in same date of occurence from same complaint with same ofference ? if so, whether covict`s sentence period of previous impriosnment to be included in undecided case ? or he can be tried consecutively even same complainant ? thanks for answer. If there are multiple cheques then punishment can be seperate irrespective of date of occurance.
