Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pakistan

Dear Sir/Madam,I used to rent a car for business purpose from Lahore.We had very good business relationship for more than 04-05 yeras.A couple of business transactions were made between me as the Director of a private limited company and that rent a car enterprise.Some confliction arose between us.I discontinued the business with that particular rent a car company.He had my cheque with an amount of Rupees one lack Rs.100000/- of my account.He registered a case against me vide 489-F.He did not tell me about that FIR.Sumon by the court was served on my previou address which I had vaccated.Some body told me that court has taken the decision against me in my absence and declared me as the absconder in that case.I had settled the dispute with that rent a car company.But I could not remove the case from the court.I do not know the case # or the copy of FIR.I have 02 questions.No-01:I was dealing as the Director of a private limited company with that Rent a Car enterprise,can that company launch an FIR vide 489 -F against me in personal capacity.No.02.Is it necessary to remove the case from the court which was registered against me in 2005.whereas the person who registered the case has quitted his claim in person??will it be shown as my criminal record??

There is one FIR for one offense... If that man has gone for FIR against u in person then the company can not file another on the same cheque..

It is necessary to remove the case from the court as it is a criminal record and u can get arrested anytime on that. Also if some other day any1 get another FIR against u and u get arrested, the trial of this case will also open and u will have 3 years imprisonment on this. 489-F is a compoundable offense and you should have settled this in the court of law with the complainant.
