Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pakistan

i have issued a cheque of Rs:100,000/- for the name of someone, and after that i paid to money of that person with the present of two persons, but he said that cheques were miissing the custody of it, now after four years he contact me and said that you paid to more 25000/= to me if you deny it i have a cheques of you, i will launch the F.I.R against of you, sir please help me, what can i do? can he will launched the F.I.R in the law? (note:- The cheques were issued Four years ago).

Go to concern bank and submit an application stating that do not cash any cheque issued on my behalf , get photo copy of that application and then go to police station to lodge an FIR that your cheque book has been lost .
