Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pakistan
Can we lodge FIR and request police not to take action immediately. For example, after lodging FIR, if reconciliation process starts between the two parties and lets say reconciliation is done in one/two months time. Since FIR has already ben lodged, can we request police not to take any action till re conciliation process or not? Either police has to arrest the accused part immediately after FIR or they can wait on complainant request?

you can approach police out of the way.. after lodging of fir police is bound to start investigation.
though u have other remedies .
