whether offence under section 188 PPC is bailable offence. it was made non bailable through amendment in 1969. but schedule of Cr.P.C shows it as non bailable since the schedule was not amended. what is effect if schedule is not amended. will it be bailable or nonbailable ? any case law?

please get yourself updated, 188 of PPC is now bailable according to schedule II. it was declared once non-bailable and failed to be implemented. schedule II of Cr.P.C is a sole statutory provision distinguishing an offense.
