Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pakistan

Is it possible police cancell the FIR 489f which is registered through court order under 22a. Some one told me the accused party is going to cancel the FIR with the cooperation of police by producing challan favouring to accused putting Khana No 2 etc. DIG/IG has some family relation with accused party. What is procedure of cancellation of FIR. Police has authority to cancel the FIR or accused party will go in session court or high court for cancellation. AND court will call the applicant for his statement. Need your help in detail and suggest i should refer this case to CIA for reinvestigation if possible, police is not cooperating while case is solid and has sufficient evidences.

Not possible for police to cancel, they might not arrest the offender and they can mislead the court by writing things in the challan and report of 173 in order to make your case weaker. For more do consult me at [email protected]
