Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pakistan
Is it true that a citizen may arrest someone without warrant if he has committed a misdemeanor amounting to a breach of the peace or a felony in the citizen�s presence. Will this arrest be lawful if someone has in fact committed the crime for which he has been arrested?

yes , he may arrest that person. peruse the following section;
59. Any private person may arrest any
person who in his view commits a non-bailable and cognizable offence, or any proclaimed offender, and
without unnecessary delay, shall make over any person so arrested to a police-officer or, in the absence of a
police-officer, take such person or causes him to be taken in custody to the nearest police-station.
