A.o.a sir,my q is wht is the procedure to change the name of my 2yrs old daughter from birth certificat.i want to change her name from birth certificate which is made Nadra.

birth k bad aus k father ny jo name rakha tha aur certificat banwia tha may aus per

name change kerna chati hoon.ab humeri divorce ho gei hai aur court sy custody mujy mil gei hai.

yes, you may change it... first ask Nadra to change it , if NADRA denies to do so , then u may get a court decree.

you can file a suit for change of her name but father name will remain the same because you can not change her parentage even though you have been divorced.

Aap apni beti ka name change karne k liay case file kar sakti hain magar aap us ka father name change nahi karwa sakti.
