Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

Assalam u alikum,

I was married to my husband (alos a pakistani citizen) in karachi, Pkaistan. After marriage I moved to US with him where we had 2 daughters. He and his family were continously abusive towards me and i was not allowed to come to Pakistan. After 6 years I came back and due to my inlaws continouse abusive behaviour i do not want to go back. I have been in pakistan for the last 9 months. My husband has not paid me any maintanece but keeps insisting i come back. I have filed for maintaince.

My in laws and husband keep harrassing me..they would go to children school and threten the principal..they would keep waing for me in the parking lot where i work and harrass me.

I would like to get your advice on what would be the best course of action.

it all depends upon what would you like to do.. To start over, the best case would be for the maintenance for yourself and for the daughters.. He would get into trouble for paying all of you on monthly bases and he and his family will stop harassing you.. For more do consult me at [email protected]

In your situation u have file following cases.

1. Suit for maintenance .

2. Writ against harassment

3. Petition in guardian court and obtain a stay order regarding any illegal activity from your relative or father.
