Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

My child is more than 7 years old. My wife is demanding khula through court. If khula is granted and I keep the child's custody, how can I stop my child from meeting his mother. The reason for stopping the child from meeting his mother is that he does not want to meet her and his future will be destroyed if he keeps meeting her. Obviously the meeting will take place during the weekends, which are very crucial for his study.

Also the allegations used by my wife are baseless. Is there a way to file a case of "Hatak-e-Izzat"? Either before of after the process of khula.

my dear in fact you have to learn to adjust with this situation.if you think its not in the welfare of the minor to see his mother than you have to prove this before the court. as far as the fortnightly meeting are concerned, it happens on Saturdays only for 1 to 3 hours at the most.

and i think you should prepare the child to have these meeting rather than making it more difficult for him, its not in the welfare of the minor either.

Khula is the seperate issue, custody of minor (boys) over seven years are to be with father if other factors are also in the favour of this decision (welfare of the minor is the paramount interest).

if your wife lie or alleges which seriously implicates you and she also lead evidence on that which later you would be able to prove before the same court that she lied before the court then perjury is committed and court can take an action against her.
