Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan
Dear Sir,
A person who is not living in Pakistan purchases (by some mean/or by his friend) a stamp paper in his own name and identification for Divorce Deed. What is the validity of that document as per my knowledge a man can get stamp paper(as it is a legal document) for divorce only in person. If my information is correct how that document can be challanged? Can it be done through court????? As my husband has sent that document to the chairman of the union council. He purchased (through some mean, as he is away ) the stamp paper on 16th of Oct 2009. Then statment of divorce was written on that stamp paper, witnessneses signed that docs and then docs was sent abroad to my husband.
This document was then sent to the chairman re-conciliation council on 1st January 2010. The statment on the paper was that I DIVORCE MY WIFE ON 16th Oct 2009. What is the validity of the document, can it be challanged???? or the re-conciliation council can start its proceedings on the basis of that document. Sir plz guide me.
