Deferred dower is payable on the demand of wife.. Also the husband is liable to pay his wife deferred dower amount immediately if he contracts second marriage.. When a decree for conjugal rights is taken from family court, it should be appealed within 30 days.. If it's decreed from the district court in 1st appeal, the parties have right to take the matter within 60 days to the high court. If both appeals are not made in time then the appeals are time barred.. However writ can be filed in the High court in such circumstances but it will be a weak one..
