Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan
I want to divorce my wife who lives in Karachi. I live in Germany. Our marriage was soleminized in Karachi. I have nobody in Karachi and I fear a corporal threat from my wife since she is full of hate towards me. Is it possible to file the case of divorce in Lahore. In her NIC the permanent address is from Lahore as well.

Well Mr. you dont need to file a suit ,divorce procedure is different under the Muslim Family Act 1961. it is no problem if you dont have anybody in Karachi, divorce procedure can be initiated any time you want, call me on working days to discuss this in detail.

You may appoint your attorney and issue him power of attorney ("POA") wherein you will delegate your right of divorce to your attorney who will pronounce it as per contents of the Power of Attorney.
However, as you are living abroad, therefore there would be a little procedure to be adopted. i mean authentication of the POA through embassies etc.
