If the father leaves the country(Pakistan) while the child custody case is still in court, what will be the effect on the case?

Whether the father is the contesting party or he had sued for the custody. If the custody is with the mother and she was sued by father and now since he had left the country the custody will remain with the mother, this also proves that the father had no interest in child
