Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

I filed a appeal for the decsion against the recovery of dowery articles in the court but it didnot come in my favour.The case was pretty simple and obvious but it seems more like the incompetence of my lawyer that decision was not in my favour.

Please guide me what is the maximum time limit in which i can go for writ in the High court.Can writ be filed in high court after the execution of the case by the other party.
