I got khula from my husband but my family is not supporting me I have no shelter just a friend who is helping me out and is also intrested in marrying me so that he can fully support me and take care of my needs right away.

In this case do I have to spend the idat period knowing that I'm a lonely girl and I need protection right away

Incase something happens to me in the idat period who will be responsible?

You can make a contract with your friend to support you for the period of iddat and in response you will marry him. However, such a contract may not be executable through court against you. Iddat, by religion is necessary to find out the expected outcome of the past wedlock, and local law also recognize it.

No one can replace the parents but if you are really threaten then you must got to Darulaman or to DASTAK. iddat period is mandatory in Islam as well as in local laws. It is also necessary to obtain a Talaq Certificate fron concern union council. Did you applied for the Talaq certificate? if not, immediately applied for Talaq certificate, it ll be issued to u after 90 days of iddat period and ll be necessary for second marriage.
