Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

m female 22yrs old and i currently live in lahoire. m doing Pharm.D.m in love wid a guy who lives in Karachi .his family has accepted our relationship wid open heart and infact his father came 2 our home with the propsal...my dad z really an agressinve and conservative person...i have been physically tortured many times....mamu z all invoved in this matter as a nuetral person he z doing his workout on the family in Karachi...but considering my dad's behaviour and aggrssion i dont think he'll agree at any cost....wht shud i do??? my studies are at stake...we want to do court marraige....any suggestions????

its my humble request to u, as its decision for rest of hole life, dont across the wishes of ur father,

tday ur one step in so called love feelings will throw u in dark .

and then there will be no way to out,

being a brther i m not ready to advice u of court marriage .

i dont think thats a good idea going against the wishes of your father and also ruining your career. Any way be advised,there is no such thing as court marriage in Pakistan. Nikkah is the only way a muslim female weds to a muslim male.Court marriage is an imported term ,which is misconstrued locally. you can call me during office hours if need to discuss this any firther.
