Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan
I am maternal grand father and legal guardian of two ababndoned children(Girls). These two children were abandoned in Pakistan by their father in the year 2001.The father is in Canada and has obtained Canadian citizenship.He is not taking care of their children. The mother of these children was divorced and got marreid in Pakistan.
My questions are that;
1)From where can I file a pettition for child support ?.
2)From which date can I claim child support, the date when the children were abandoned?
3)The first daughter was born in USA and have US citizenship having mental retardation and second one who was born in Pakistan after reaching here and is Pakistan citizen.
4)The father while abandoning their famly n Pakistan kept by force all the travellng documents.
The family was living in Ohio USA on J-1 and J-2 Visa.

If u r guardian of the children
You can filed a suit for maintenance of children in Family court since they were drop at your door step. normally court fixed from the day of filling suit. But it can be fixed from first.
to pay the maintenance to children is father responsibility at any cost. it ll be better if their mother files a suit for their maintenance.
make party father and grand father of the children send notices in Pakistan and abroad also.
