Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

I am from Pakistan , i got wedlock(Nikkah) last year on July 21, 2011 , from a girl in Islamabad, I lives in Gulf.

My Wife's Parent they wanted my spouse to complete her education Master then they will do the rest part means then she can come with me , but unfortunately, they want divorce now without any reason which, i refused to do so they went to arbitrary court and want Khula.

We have tried our best to stop this but it did not work , now they dont let me talk to my wife, i had very good relations with her but because of her parents

i am not able to talk to her.

Suggest me what i have to do now, can i stop this Khula, if not then what i have to do , I have ticked the option that she can get divorce on Nakkah Paper, now do i have to pay Haq/Mahar ,

My Parents and me all were in contact with them , they have written that we were not in contact with her , while its false , we have all proves that we were in

contact and she was happy with all of us

I am very much hurt, please suggest me something.

If you have given her right of divorce in column 18 then she can get talaq-e-tafweez easily in 90 days.. However you should contest the case in arbitration council so that if there is any lacuna in the process an advantage can be taken. For more do consult me at [email protected]

if u really want to continue this wedlock u must go there and get a chance for reconciliation with ur wife, a separate meeting ll be your right there,

u ll not hv to pay the dower in this situation.
