Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan
Q: Mr X Died on May 20th 1998 he was married; Mr X father was alive at the time of his death. On 6th October Mr. X become father of a baby boy Y; at the time of baby boy Y Mr. X does not exist. The grand father to baby boy Y exists and the grand father died in the year 2004. Tell me Islamic jurishprudence and our current practices in the court wheather the grandson is entitled to have property right in the property of his grandson, whereas not a single asset his father X is holding.

The grandson has right in inheritance of grandfather. The share to which the father was entitled, grandson will inherit the same. For more do consult me at [email protected]
